Grand Rapids Children’s Museum

Volunteers play a critical part in our mission “to celebrate childhood and the joy of learning by providing an exciting hands-on environment that inspires learning and encourages self-directed exploration.” At the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, volunteers play with children, help to build and maintain exhibits, explore art with families, help in the office, and offer their time and skills in many other ways! Most importantly, no matter where you volunteer at the Museum, you make a difference in the lives of children!

Our Youth Volunteers range in age from 14 to 18. Youth Volunteers usually spend their time interacting directly with Museum visitors. This volunteer position is called a Facilitator. To find out what a facilitator does please CLICK HERE!
